Optional: Add to Contacts: From their profile, you can also choose “Add to Contacts” (if available).
Advantages:
Doesn’t require knowing their phone number or username beforehand.
Allows you to connect with people within shared context
Disadvantages:
Only works if you’re already in a mutual group/channel.
If their privacy settings are very strict (e.g., “Nobody” can see their profile), you might not be able to interact with them this way.
3. People Nearby (Functionality telegram number database Changes – Use with Caution)
Please note: Telegram’s “People Nearby” feature has undergone changes, and its availability or exact functionality may vary or be removed in some regions or app versions due to privacy concerns. Previously, you could discover users in your immediate vicinity who also had the feature enabled.
How it Used to Work (and may still exist in some forms):
Go to Contacts from the main what is a telegram username? Telegram menu.
Tap on “People Nearby”.
Telegram would then show a list of other belgium numbers users (and local groups) who are currently visible in the same area.
You could tap on a user’s profile from this list to initiate a chat or add them.
